Veranda is a collaboration between highly acclaimed chef George Mendes - restaurateur David Rabin - and catering and events group Abigail Kirsch. Set beneath a state-of the-art retractable greenhouse our dining room allows for flexible indoor/outdoor dining with several additional indoor and outdoor cocktail areas. Veranda features Chef Mendes renowned food a robust wine list curated by Lee Campbell and cocktails by Johnny Swet. Private events are held on-premise and are executed as a collaboration between Chef Mendes and Abigail Kirsch team. Chef George Mendes - most recently of Michelin-starred Aldea - has curated a menu that is recognizably American with hints of India Mexico South America the Middle East and his own ancestral Portugal. Chef Mendes purposefully supports the bounty of local farmers butchers and fishermen while also celebrating global flavors within the context of our American cuisine.

Created and curated by David Rabin and Johnny Swet the atmosphere is intimate and refined with lingham wood floors swank modular furniture dark cinnamon glazed tile walls and a working fireplace all surrounded by 14 ft windows with panoramic views of Midtown Wall Street the Hudson River and the bridges spanning the East River. Unlike typical rooftop bars JIMMY is a year-round destination. In colder months guests gravitate towards the inside conversation pit a freeform lounge area with plush upholstered seating midcentury era Arco lamps and exotic wood side tables. In warmer weather the experience spills onto the roof deck where guests can enjoy chaise lounges and unparalleled city views.
